There is no difference between a companion of innovation and an innovator the companion of innovation he is an innovator, whoever commits an innovation then he is called an innovator, except if he was ignorant and didn't know that it was an innovation, in that case it is not ruled upon him with having innovated. until it is clarified to him, but if he did it intentionally and he knew it was an innovation and still performed the act, then this individual is an innovator. However innovations differ from it is that which is disbelief and from it is that which is a major sin and from it is that which is less than that; So innovation differs, whoever all of it is Haraam and misguidance and as The Prophet (Peace and prayers be upon him) said: " Indeed every heresy in religion is an innovation and every innovation is misguidance". He said (May peace and prayers be upon him) : "Cling to my sunnah and the sunnah of the rightly guided Khulaafaa after me, hold on to it and bite down on it with your molar teeth and beware of heresy for indeed every heresy is an innovation and every innovation is misguidance and every misguidance! And in another hadeeth : "Whoever commits an act that is not in agreement with of affair then it is rejected, and in another narration of the same hadeeth : "Whoever introduces to our affair that which is not from it, then it is rejected! So everything that opposes the evidences in belief our actions then it is most certainly an innovation. However innovations differ, from it is that which reaches the level of disbelief, like building upon graves and making du'a to the dead and seeking aid from the dead, this is Shirk, it is from the innovations of shirk ( polytheism) likewise saying that the Qur'an is created which was the way of the Jahmiyyah and those who followed them, this in an innovated statement and it is disbelief, because it is in opposition to the speech of Allah and it is rejecting an attribute from the attributes of Allah The Mighty and Sublimed, rejection and denial of that which is mentioned in the Qur'an which was sent down by Allah. So this is disbelief and this statement takes an individual from the fold of Islaam! We ask Allah for his protection. And from it is that which is less than that.
أحسن الله إليكم صاحب الفضيلة ، وهذا سائل يقول : هل هناك فرق بين صاحب بدعة والمبتدع ؟ ومتى يخرج صاحب البدعة من السنة ؟
نص الإجابة لا فرق بين صاحب البدعة والمبتدع، صاحبه هو المبتدع فمن ارتكب بدعة فإنه يسمى مبتدعاً، إلا إذا كان جاهلاً لا يعلم أنها بدعة فلا يحكم عليه بالابتداع حتى يبين له أنه إذا كان متعمداً وعارفاً أنها بدعة وعمل بها هذا مبتدع، والبدعة تختلف، منها ما هو كفر، ومنها ما هو كبيرة، ومنها ما هو دون ذلك؛ فالبدع تختلف، ولكن كلها محرمة وضلالة كما قال النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: "وإن كل محدثة في الدين بدعة وكل بدعة ضلالة"، قال -عليه الصلاة والسلام-: "عليكم بسنتي وسنة الخلفاء الراشدين من بعدي، تمسكوا بها، عضوا عليها بالنواجذ، وإياكم ومحدثات الأمور؛ فإن كل محدثة بدعة، وكل بدعة ضلالة"، وفي الحديث الأخر: " من عمل عملاً ليس عليه أمرنا فهو رد"، وفي رواية: "من أحدث من أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد"؛ فكل ما خالف الأدلة في الاعتقاد أو في العمل؛ فإنه بدعة، لكن البدع تختلف منها ما يصل إلى حد الكفر مثل البناء على القبور ودعاء الأموات والاستغاثة بالأموات هذا شرك، بدعة شركية، وكذلك الأقوال مثل القول بخلق القرآن منهج الجهمية ومن تبعهم، هذا قول مبتدع وهو كفر؛ لأنه جحود لكلام الله عز وجل، جحود لصفة من صفات الله عز وجل، جحود وتكذيب لما جاء من القرآن المنزل من عند الله؛ فهذا كفر هذه المقالة كفر يخرج من الملة، نسأل الله العافية، ومنها ما هو دون ذلك.
